Cheese Please -  It is time for another challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy.

We are having another flashback. This time we are using the sketch from challenge 19. It is a fun one.

My image is Digi Doodles. I had colored up this image a while back and have been waiting for the perfect time to use.  I really like it, it is so sweet. I colored it with Copic's.

My papers are MME, Breeze. I finished it off with buttons.

Blue Jay

Blue Jay - It is time for a new sketch at Seems a Little Sketchy. I must admit, that I quite like this sketch. It is so easy to do and yet so elegant. Our sponsor for this challenge is Whimsy Stamps.

My papers this time are MME's Moments. I just added navy card stock and buttons. Easy Peasy.

Chaos at Christmas

Chaos at Christmas - The challenge at Craft 4 Eternity is Christmas Chaos and I think this card and my life reflect that very well. Christmas is almost upon us and boy, does my life feel pleasantly chaotic.

My image is Digi Doodles. I colored it with Copics I then stamped it with a snowflake stamp all around the edges. I added some tinsel glitter to the garland and used my Spica pens on the lights and ornaments. I added some Stickles to the snowflakes.

My flowers are Prima and sprayed with Glimmer Mist. The pearls are from a garland and the leaf is SU. A gemstone was used in the center of each flower.

Christmas Dreams

 

 

Christmas Dreams - This sweet little mouse reminds me of Christmas Eve at my house growing up. It was our tradition to open the presents on Christmas Eve after returning home for the Christmas Eve children's program at our church. After opening our presents we played and played with our new gifts. We were allowed to stay up very late, as we could sleep in on Christmas morning.

 

I can image this little mouse sleeping in all the gift wrap at our house.

 

 

My image is Digi Doodles Cecil Wrapped Up. I colored Cecil (would you believe that I have a brother named Cecil?) with Copics. I added some Stickles to the ruffle on the pillow. The tree branches in the upper right hand corner were hand drawn by me. I was nervous about doing this, but I like the result!

 

My holly vine is CL. The flower is The Girls' Paperie, Tinsel and Twig.
My paper is Cloud 9 - Harvest Holiday. Everything is inked with Forest Moss distress ink.

I finished off the card using a MS punch, 3 red gemstones and some red baker's twine.

Blue Birds

 

Blue Birds - A new sketch challenge is starting at Seems a Little Sketchy.

 

My DP's are DCWV At Home. The doily is a Cheery Lane die; as is the thin swirly vines.

 

The punches are SU punches and the sentiment is Hot Off the Press.

 

My flowers are Heartfelt Creations Posey's cut with a coordinating SB. I shaped them with my McGill embossing tools and mat.

 

I added Bark elements by Barbara Trombley to the centers. I love this product. They use really elements from nature and they smell really good. This one smells like wood chips. I think quite perfect for my tree perched blue birds.

 



My image is Digi Doodles, who are our sponsor for this challenge. I decided that I would make my birds Blue Birds. As you can see from the image that I would on the Internet that the female is not as bright as the male; as is common with birds.

Window

 Window - It is time for a new sketch at Seems a Little Sketchy. Jenn made a really cute one for this fortnight. We are sponsored by Digi Doodles and we each got to choose one to use. Where is my image, you ask? Well, you will have to wait a few minutes before I open the window for you to see.

Here is Jenn's lovely sketch. It is a fun one.

My papers are Prima's All Occasion. The window it a Heartfelt Creations die. I distressed with TH new lilac distress inks. It is a very slight change in color, but does give it some contrast. I embossed the window shutters to give it a more wood planks look. I framed with window with lilac gemstones.

My flowers were cut stems. The leaves are a SB that I pinched to add some shape. I used some lilac wire that I spiraled around a paintbrush handle.

My image is Digi Doodles Bird Bath. I colored it with Copics. I must admit that I am rather proud of the water. I played with it quite a while before I was satisfied.

Garden

Garden - Over at Alphabet Challenge Blog we are up to G already and G is for .... Garden!!

I wanted to do something really different and when I was looking for images, this one from Digi Doodles just called out to me. I thought it would be really cool if I did her as a statue, but I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. I gave it a try and I really like how it came out. Even my husband was impressed.

I colored the angel using Copic's, then cut her with SU Framelits. My DP is Meadow by K & Company. Sentiment is from Dreamweavers'. The Scroll is SB that I cut in half.
