Bows

Bows - Time for a new challenge at Creative Card Crew. This fortnight we are hoping that you will join us in our bow challenge. :)

My designer paper is Authentique's Two Christmases in One. I love the funky green in the Santa paper and the blue spuce color in the background of the tree paper.

My image is Lacy Sunshine Stamps, Lucy Boo's Christmas Package. I colored her with Copics and added Stickles to her lacy skirt. I also added some double bows to her hair. I used a die on the image and then used the same die and cut it into 3 pieces for the matting. I finished off the image with some red pleated netting. It reminded me of her skirt.

I used some tree dies to make the blue spruce trees. The trees and all of the papers were ink with distress ink.

My sentiment is SU and I used a quick tie ribbon for the bow.

Blue Snowflakes

Blue Snowflakes - It is time for a new challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy and I am so excited about this sketch!!!! I love the belly band on it.

My DP's are BoBunny Powder Mountain.

My image is Lacy Sunshine's Snowflake - Quality Control. I colored her with Copics, then added lots of gemstones. I randomly stamped snowflakes with Tumbled Glass distress ink and then used a fine tipped glue (Heartfelt Creations) to add a fine glitter.

The snow flakes behind the image are HC Lacy dies. I cut it in half and mounted it behind the image that was cut with a SB.

I made a stick pin and added it the bow that was tied using my Bow Easy.

Here is a side view, so that you can see all the sparkle.

Flitting Here and There

Flitting Here and There - This fortnights challenge at Creative Card Crew is "Spring." I don't know what your weather is like, where you live, but I am starting to see buds on the trees and we are having thunder storms.

With that said, we are gearing up for tornado season. After last May, I am finding myself getting nervous and really paying attention. If you did not pick up on what I am referring to, I live in Moore Oklahoma, where a F-5 tornado ripped through last May, taking out 2 elementary schools among other things. My grandson was in 1 of those 2 schools and 7 children from his school did not survive.

We are sponsored by Marianne Designs and Lacy Sunshine. My image is Lacy Sunshine's Sky Lynn. She is a really sweet image. I colored Sky Lynn with Copic's. I added Stickles to the trim and belt of her kimono. I also added Stickles to the butterflies.

My DP is MME Collectable Notable. I love the citrus colors in this pad. I added some butterflies using orange card stock in an ombre' fashion. I used a variety of butterfly punches and used Stickles and pearls on them.

My sentiment and punches are SU.

Lil Angel

Lil Angel - It is time for a new challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy. I made this sketch and I must say that I enjoyed using it. I hope you will come and play along with.

** Tip** Our future sketches are posted on a page on the challenge blog, so you can use it to plan ahead on DT projects and then wait for it to go live and then post it.  I always color up my images ahead of time, then hope to be able to catch a sketch challenge will a date that is still going on for when the post goes live.

Here is this fortnights sketch.

We are sponsored by Lacy Sunshine and I used her Winter Angel Food image. Isn't she a doll? I colored her with Copics and even used my airbrush on her. I added Stickles on her wings and halo. The image was cut using the Off the Die method with a SB.

My DP is Bo Bunny's C'est La Vie Collection. My sentiment is Stampin Up; as is the punch that punched it out. I used distress inks on the edges of the paper. I also used 4 flatback pearls on the sentiment that I popped up using pop dots.

I finished off the card with bows that were tied using my Bow Easy.
