Frozen Beauty

Frozen Beauty - The challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity this week is YOUR STYLE. So this is an awesome one for you to play along with us. I do hope you will join us.

My favorite style is soft and girly, I like lace and bling. I also love cards with fancy folds.

This challenge is sponsored by Sassy Designs Studio and I used one of their fabulous images. This one is Let It Go, featuring Elsa from Disney's Frozen.

My Designer papers are Teresa Collins, Tell Your Story. I started this card with some teal Christmas papers, but I needed some contrast and nothing was working, Then I noticed this pad of paper. It would still give me Elsa's signature teal dress, sorry, I tried to "see" her dress in another color and it was a bridge to far.

I used Elisabeth Crafts die set to create the card body, then used some flowers for the front. The sentiment is also from Sassy Studio Designs. I colored it with Copics. The butterflies are a MS punch and the heart is a SB die.

Here is the lovely Elsa. I colored her with Copics and added lots of Lacy Frost Stickles. The banner is from a sheet of the DP. I fussy cut it, then pop dotted it up.

The back sentiment is also from Sassy Studio Designs. Again I used Copics to color it.

I love how this card came out and it was really fun to turn myself loose and create in "my" style.

Best of Britain

Best of Britain - We are starting a new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity and Alphabet Challenge Blog. The challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is the best of British. Now as an American, you can image that this one was tough for me, but Sassy Studio Designs can through for me with this cute Sassy in the Union Jack dress.

My DP's are Bazzill's Basic Paper.

\

I colored the image with Copics, then stenciled around it with a butterfly stencil and distress inks. I added some sparkle with Stickles and cut with a SB.

The challenge at Alphabet Challenge Blog is H for handmade embellishment. I made the butterfly using CL die and added Stickles to the outer layer and then used a red brad in the center. I used 4 more brads around the middle piece.

The border is a MS punch.

My sentiment is SU.

Steam Punk Babe

Steam Punk Babe - Steam Punk is not my favorite style, but since it is the challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity, I tried my hand at it and I am pleased with the outcome. One thing about being on a design team is that it forces you to move out of your comfort zone and that is a good thing!

I hope you like my card as much as I do.

I started my card with some Tim Holtz designer paper, Vintage Shabby.  I inked everything with Frayed Burlap distress inks. I also used lots of pink Fran-tage embossing powder. Fran-tage is such a fun product to use.

My image is Steam Punk Vivian, by our sponsor, Sassy Studio Designs. I colored her with Copics and cut her with a SB die. I added some metal wings that I won in a challenge. I also used some cheese cloth under the cut image.

My flowers are made using the designer paper and cutting them with a SB Posy die. I stacked and wet them to  shape them around a paper piercer. I coiled some colored wire around a paintbrush to spiral it. I used a Bow Easy to tie the bow.

The card was finished off with 3 lt coffee colored pearls.

Pop-up Card

Pop-up Card - I have one card for 2 teams for you this morning.

The first one up is Crafts 4 Eternity. Our challenge there is More than 1 fold and we are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.

My other team is Alphabet Challenge Blog and our challenge there is Y for young. We are to create a card for someone young.

My card is a pop up one. I like this design because it folds flat and is still easy to mail. I won't be mailing this one. It is for a little 3 year old sweetie, that is staying with my daughter.

This is a free standing pop up card. You can find a great tutorial here.

I have used Sleeping Beauty Sassy for my image. Isn't she adorable? I colored her with Copics. Her mat is punched with MS punch around the page and I added to heart gemstones.

My sentiment is heat embossed with gold and the border is heat embossed with Pink Princess embossing glitter.

The flower is a Susan's Garden. I added some Stickles to it.

In the Pink

In the Pink - Hi, I'm out town in Branson, Missouri. We are having a fabulous time with our 4 year old grandson.

Last night, we went on the Polar Express. It was fabulous. They had so many tiny details that made it such a wonderful experience.

The train was decorated for Christmas and all of the staff was in costume. We walked through a snow machine and a hobo was sitting on top of the train waving to everyone. They played the sound track from the movie and read the story to the children, who had been encouraged to wear their pajama's.

We were served hot chocolate and cookies while we sped through the night. The conductor punched each child's initial into their ticket. We passed elf's playing inside an old train station and there, Santa boarded. Each child received a "magic" bell and carolers went from car to car. Our grandson was thrilled with all of this. It is something that not just him, but us as well, will remember for a long time.

Back to my card! This is mt DT card fog Crafts 4 Eternity. Our challenge this week is Christmas Chaos and we are sponsored by Sassy Designs. My image of course, is one of Sassy's.

Please join us in our challenge!

Spirit

Spirit - Today's challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is CAS (clean and simple.)

I made this card using this fun image from our sponsor Sassy Designs Studio. She was really fun to color.
I used the least amount of Copic's that I have used in a long time. I used 5 BV, 1 R and 1 E. 7 markers. I think that is a new record for me.

The edges were inked with Antique Linen. The sentiment is Studio G. I finished off the card with Bakers twine and a moon charm.

Jessica Rabbit

Jessica Rabbit - It is time for a new sketch at Seems a Little Sketchy. This is my fabulous card!! I love this image. She is really fun!

Just look at out fun sketch. Would you believe that I made this one. Tess usually does our sketches, but she is moving from her flooded house, so I got to do the honors. What do you think?

Here is a close up of my image. Jessica Rabbit, is by our sponsor Sassy Studio Designs. She is a full length image, but I cut off her legs with my SB die. I colored Jessica with Copics and added lots of tiny black rhinestones. Did you notice the gemstone earring?

My DPs are Recollections and DCWV Twinkle Glint stack. You can't see the sparkle in the papers in the photo, but it is really pretty in real life.

My sentiment is SU, as is the punches used to punch it. I heat embossed the sentiment mat.

I finished off the card with 3 pearls. I hope you will join our challenge and use my sketch at Seems a Little Sketchy. We still don't get a lot of entries, so you have a good chance to win!

Broom

Broom - This image from Sassy Studio Designs reminds me of the sitcom "Bewitched." I loved that show.

Our challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is travel and we are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs. I chose this image called Sassy Witch. Everyone knows that witches ride brooms and this Sassy girl, looks that she could go far!

I Colored her with Copics. I had fun with my background, making a night sky that was still light enough to show her off.

My DP is Cloud 9, Harvest Holiday.

The sentiment is SU, used with the corresponding punch.

My lily's are Sizzix Susan's Garden. I love these dies!

I added some glow in the dark glitter to the papers. It is really fun at night, but it doesn't photograph at all glowing.

Bonjour

Bonjour - It is time for a new sketch challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy.

I really enjoyed working with this split panel sketch. It was really fun thinking about what to put to share equal billing with the fun image.

My image is Sassy Studio Designs, Little Honey's France. They are our sponsor for this challenge. The prize is 4 digi images of the winner's choice. I colored Honey with Copics and added just a little bit of Stickles on her neck scarf.

My designer papers are MME Madison Avenue. The image of the Eiffle Tower was in the paper. All papers were inked with Frayed Burlap distress inks.

My sentiment and punches are all SU. I used a couple of tiny pink brads.

I finished off my card with 3 pink gemstones.

Under the Sea

Under the Sea - This week's challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is to use 3 or more papers and the challenge at Alphabet Challenge Blog is F for fantasy.

Sassy Designs Studio is the sponsor for Crafts 4 Eternity and I thought it would be the perfect time to use this stunning mermaid by Sassy Designs Studio. Isn't she gorgeous?

I colored  Pirates Mermaid wiht Copics and added lots of Star Dust Stickles to her tail.

My papers are Pressed Petals, Baby Boy. I ran all of the papers through my Zutter Distrezz machine. It is such a quick way to add some oomph to your papers.

The whispy seagrass is SB. The smaller one is a glitter paper, but the sparkle is not showing up with the camera.

I finished off my card with 3 Dew Drops.

Shopping Our Stash #98 Bargain Bin-would you believe that I got the designer paper from Tuesday Morning, a bargain bin store. I love to rummage through their crafts. I have found lots of treasures there.

Cupid

Cupid - It is Friday and that means it is time for another challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity. The challenge, which is sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs is Be My Valentine.

My papers are DCWV Love and Wedding.  All papers were inked with Vintage Photo Distress inks.

My image is Sassy Studio Design's Cupid. I really like this image with her bow and Arrow - Move over Katniss Aberdeen!

Cupid was colored using my beloved (since we are talking about love) Copics. She was cut using a SB. I also used lots of Stickles on her hair piece, sleeves and arrow.

My flowers are a variety. The center pink flower is HC. The red and cream are Petaloo and the tight pink ones are cut from stems.

The leave is a SU die.

This shoot is to show that I did use this element of the sketch, but most of it is hide by the flowers.

Let it Snow!

Let it Snow - This challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy is sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs. The sketch is a simple and fun one. Just take a look below!

My Designer paper is Let it Snow by Sandy Lion.

My image is Sassy Designs Studio - Sassy Snowman. I think she is such a fun one to color. Love her curly hair.

The Snow flakes on the image were stamped on with a Inkadinkadoo snowflake stamp and Tattered Rose distress ink and then a fine glitter was added.

I used blue gemstones to add more sparkle.

The snowflake was cut from the paper and more gemstones were added.

I hope you liked my card and will join in our challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy.
