Give a Little Curtsy

Give a Little Curtsy - It is time for our next challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy

Designer paper is Love Letters, by Little Yellow Bicycle.

This fortnight we are using this sketch. I hope you like it and will come and play with us!

We are sponsored by The Paper Doll Nest. This image is little Miss Hollywood and is available in rubber only. I colored her with Copic's and stamped around the SB die cut image.

I finished off the card with a flower by Pizzazz Aplenty. I also purchased most of my stickpin supplies from there as well. The bow was tied using my Bow Easy.

Giddy Up

Giddy Up - It is time for another challenge at Creative Card Crew and this challenge is sponsored by QKR and Pizzazz Aplenty. Two prizes are up for grab's!

My  image is QKR Stampede's Ride'em Cowboy. I colored it with Copics and added the clouds with Tumbled Glass distress ink. I edged the image and my DP ( Kaiser Craft Secret Bird Society Collection) with a new product that I just picked up at the Scrap booking Convention in Arlington that I attended. It is Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint. I love the sparkle in it.

The snails shell received a some Diamond Glaze to make it shiny.

My stick pin is made with a lot of different beads. I added this fun feather to the beads. My favorite place to shop for beads is at Pizzazz Aplenty. Judy carries such great stuff and she has awesome prices!

I added my sentiment (Stampin Up) to a double bow made with twine.

My cards are paper that was in the paper pad. I just cut them out and added some Fran-tage to it. I am having problems with the embossing powder flying off my paper. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Stick Pin Swap

If anyone is interested, there is a stick pin swap going at CDAC. You will need to be a member, but it is free to join and it is really fun. You get back some of the best pins. No need to feel intimated to join in the fun. They are super easy to make.

If you look in my archives under stick pins, you can see the ones that I have made.

Chocolate Boxes

Chocolate Boxes - This fortnights challenge at Creative Card Crew is.... chocolate!!! I promise that there are no calories in looking at my post, but the same can not be said if you receive one of these.

We are sponsored by the fabulous Judy of Pizzazz Aplenty.

I have a group of ladies that I scrapbook with every Wednesday. We exchange homemade cards and small gifts 4 times a year and Valentines is one of the holidays that we exchange for.

My friends are super talented, so it is always a challenge to come up with something. This year I made chocolate survival kits. This containers that I picked up at the Dollar Tree are filled with chocolate goodies.

On the top of the boxes, I started with some pale pink tulle  then layered a doily on top of it. I then added more tulle.

I added some clear bead sprays and then a variety of flowers and a strand of pearls and topped it off with a glittery red heart.

You can see the tops of all 10 that I made.

Sketchy Jaden

Sketchy Jaden - One project and two teams!!! Yep, today Seems a Little Sketchy and Sew Many Challenges teamed up to bring you 2 chances to win using 1 sketch.

We have 2 sponsors for this challenge, Sew Many Cards for both Sew Many Challenges and Seems a Little Sketchy and Pizzazz APlenty also for Seems a Little Sketchy.
Sew Many Cards has the most delightful images and Pizzazz Aplenty has supplies for bead making at the best prices around. She even ships internationally.

My image is Sew Many Card's, Jaden with butterfly. I have colored him several times, as he is a favorite on mine.

Here is the sketch. Isn't it lovely? Jen from Seems a Little Sketchy designs all of the sketches for Seems a Little Sketchy and she always does such a nice job.
For my card, I used Pressed Petals, Little Safari designer papers. My gemstone swirl is Want 2 Scrap.
Many of my stick pin beads are from Pizzazz Aplenty. I participated in a stick pin swap and I have become quite addicted to making them. And with the prices being so good at Pizzazz Aplenty, I can feed my addiction and my husband will testify that I do feed it quite frequently.

My ribbon is also from Pizzazz Aplenty. This shade is called goldenrod and I love the depth of the color

Seeing Red

Seeing Red - I am participating in a swap at CDAC that is to make stick pins with a Love theme. This is my swap. We had to make 6 sets of 3 stick pins and then package them, so as to be a little gift for the 6 in our group. These are so fun to do. I love how romantic these pins can be. You can be looking in the months to come, all the lovely pins that I will soon be receiving.

The challenge at Creative Card Crew is Seeing Red, so I thought these stick pins would be perfect for my DT project. We are sponsored by Pizzazz Aplenty who has the most amazing prices for stick pins. I bought most of my stick pin supplies from Pizzazz Aplenty and was amazed by all that I received.
Here is the front of my pin holder. I cut the little booklet from the Damask Decor Cricut cartridge. I then went around the image with a gold pen. This was very time consuming, but I think well worth the effort. I then added the gemstones.
Here is a shot of my pins. On the left pin, I used a crytsal stick pin, that was colored with a gold Copic. Do you notice the rhinstone spacer? Those came from Judy at Pizzazz Aplenty. I bought only 2 packages and I used every one of them between this swap and my Christmas gifts to my scrapbooking buddies. I will soon be ordering more of these. LOL
The middle stick used a silver pin and heart. They were also from Judy, as was the crakled bead.
The right stick pin used another of Judy's pin, the red crystal ones. The red bead was also from Judy's shop.
You can see that I am a very loyal customer of Judy's and I am sure that you will be too, once you see her prices.
To make the beads all you do is put them on the pins, then use Glossy Accents as your glue to hold them in place. Warning: these are very addictive!!!!! LOL

I wrapped my ribbon around my card, then tied bows in my ribbon using my Bow Easy.
I hope that you will also be seeing red and join in our challenge at Creative Card Crew.
