Tongue

Tongue - The star of this scrapbook page is my sweet granddaughter Kaylee. When I seen the below sketch for Crafts 4 Eternity, it just called to me to do a page with it, instead of the usual card.

Designer Paper by DCWV, Christmas Made. Only the snowflakes were not part of the paper.

Crafts 4 Eternity sketch!

Don't you just love the tongue?

The snowflakes were cut with SB dies on kraft card stock. I layered them with foam tape and added a red gemstone to the top of them.

I inked all papers with distress ink. I believe I used Vintage Photo.

Easter Under Water - It is time for a new challenge at the Sweet Pea Stampers. This fortnight we are challenging you to make an Easter card/project.

My DP's are scraps from my scrap drawer. I believe they are by the Paper Studio. I finished it off with some purple pearls

Eye of the Tiger

Eye of the Tiger - The new challenge at Creative Card Crew is to use a "lucky" charm in your project. We have 2 wonderful sponsors for this challenge, Delicious Doodles and Marianne Designs. Delicious Doodles is giving out 4 digi images and Marianne Designs is giving 2 die cut sets

Teri, at Delicious Doodles has these amazing images of eyes. I have been wanting to do one for ages, so I was thrilled to "need" to do one of them. The reptile eye looks like it would be really fun to do to. I could see it with some haunting highlights.

I went CAS simple using kraft cardstock with a Chicken Wire embossing folder (CB.) I tied some hemp cord and attached my orange crystal charm to it.

Give a Little Curtsy

Give a Little Curtsy - It is time for our next challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy

Designer paper is Love Letters, by Little Yellow Bicycle.

This fortnight we are using this sketch. I hope you like it and will come and play with us!

We are sponsored by The Paper Doll Nest. This image is little Miss Hollywood and is available in rubber only. I colored her with Copic's and stamped around the SB die cut image.

I finished off the card with a flower by Pizzazz Aplenty. I also purchased most of my stickpin supplies from there as well. The bow was tied using my Bow Easy.

Opps!

Opps! - This weeks challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is spots and stripes. I went with a really simple 1 layer card for my project. I used a stencil and Wild Honey distress ink.

My sentiment is SU.

My husband commented that this is one of his favorites. Maybe for his next birthday card, I can just spill some ink and he will love it. What a great husband I have!

Blue Romance

Blue Romance - It is time for new challenges at 2 of my teams that I design for.

Crafts 4 Eternity's challenge is Texture. Alphabet Challenge blog's challenge is B for buttons and bows. While the button and bow is easy to spot, the texture is a bit more difficult to spot.

I did not use any designer paper for this card. I used scraps of white, ran it through the Cuttlebug with a QuicCuts folder, then used Rangers, Stormy Sky distress ink and ran the pad over the design a few times. I love the way it can out. This added some texture to the card.

My image is SU Rue Des Fleurs stamp. I added a little Copic B95, 93, and 91 to the corset. I added blue flower soft to the flowers. The image was cut with a SU die cut.

I tied the bow with my Bow Easy and added a button.

Here you can see all the texture!

Speedy Recovery

Speedy Recovery - It is time for a new challenge at Creative Card Crew. Today we are making Get Well cards. With so many people having the flu, it is a good time to do this.

So far, we have been lucky at my house, although my daughter has had some at her house. The school that I serve on the school board with has had a lot of Strep.

My Designer paper is Bo Bunny's Surprise! Collection. While many of the papers are very birthday, some of them are just nice bright, primary colors and those are always nice for little boy cards.

My image is by Image That! I need lots of little boy cards, so I thought they would like love to be cheered up by this awesome dude.

I colored the image with Copics and added some stenciling around the edges. The sentiment is also by Image That! We are also sponsored by the Scrapping Center. So come on over to at Creative Card Crew and help us cheer up the world with Get Well wishes!
