Angel Joy

Angel Joy - I finished this little beauty this afternoon, finially!!! It only took me 3 days. I discovered that Copics will not cover Scotch brand quick-dry adhesive. I had done my paperdiecing first and when I went to color her, there was a small amount of adhesive that had septed out on her leg. The color would not cover that area and then the color began to build up in other places; so I redid the whole image. I also had a quick drive up to Oklahoma City to take some paperwork up to my daughter so that she can close on her house this week. It was a 3 1/2 hour drive each way. I am so tired, therefore I am destressing by card making.
Rick will be leaving for Georgia on the 6th of August, then he will be off to Iraq for a little more than a year. So a lot going on.
Back to the card-The image is Mos digital. I colored her with Copics E000, 00, 21, 25, 31, 50, BG10, B00, R20, 22.
DP is Memory Magic and ribbon from my stash. The pearls are MS I used twinkling H2O's on her wings after heat setting the ink.

Silver and Gold

Silver and Gold - This was a fun technique to emboss with silver and gold on black and white paper. I used a Stampin up stamp that I have had forever. The brads were glittered up with a new glitter that I bought at the convention. You just heat up the brad and dip it into the glitter and it sticks to the brad, more heat and WA LA, glittery brads.

Colorfull Love

Colorful Love - The sentiment says it all. "Your true soulmate brings out all of the beautiful colors of your heart." I found this great digi image site yesterday and was just taken with this image. Their challenge for this week was to have white on white and only color on the image. With that sentiment I thougt this image was perfect for this challenge.
Colored with Copics. The image is Michelle Perkett Studio.
http://www.michelleperkettstudio.blogspot.com/ - white on white with only the image with color.

At the Beach

At the Beach - A carefree day at the beach is always so much fun. This image is from Mo's digital pencil. I love how her wrap is blowing behind her. She is colored with Copics. I used Matte accents on her water bottle and bangels, orange stickles on her beach bag and the sand is new product called MUDD. I think there might be actual sand in it, it has a lot of texture.

Caged Bird

Paper is SEI. Brads are creative Imaginations. Stamp is from the dollar bin at Michaels. The punch is MS.

Humming Bird

Humming Bird - Humming Birds are my favorite bird. With their tiny bodies and bright colors, they are such a delight. I found a picture of a humming bird in these colors, but they did not identify the name of it. I had recently bougth Copic in the deep purples and was looking for an opportunity to use them. The image is digi Doodles. Colored with Copics, DP is Rustic pack by DCWV. Pearls are Recollections. Punch is EK Secess. I pinched both sides with the same punch. I lucked out with the way it met up in the center. It was not planned.
