Night Song

Night Song - I have a card that I have made for my Creative Card Crew team. Our challenge this fortnight is Teddy Bear Picnic. You just need a Teddy Bear, they don't have to be on a picnic. LOL

My DP is Bo Bunny's Powder Mountain Collection. I LOVE the colors in this pad. I inked with Stormy Sky distress ink.

We are sponsored by Stamp Fairy and I used their image, Lenny Christmas Scene 4. Aren't they adorable?

This is the only image that I did while I was in Alaska, visiting my son. I took my Copic's in my hand carried baggage and I was quite upset, when my first plane turned out to be a small puddle hopper and they made me check my markers. The overhead bins were much smaller than on most flights. My markers were fine when I arrived in Chicago, where I caught my much larger flight into Anchorage, where I was once again hand carrying my precious markers.

All that and I still only colored one image. LOL

My sentiment is SU. I hand cut the banner. My trees are a new buy for me. The are Impression Obsessions. I added some fine glitter for "snow or maybe ice" on the trees.

I added some snow mica flakes for the snow and ice under the bear's feet.

My border is SB and I added some tiny grey pearls to the border.

Here you can see the cut in the border and I placed a darker grey on the inside of the card to peek out from the design in the border.

Turtle Cop

Turtle Cop - I have Cal's birthday card for my DT card for Seems a Little Sketchy. We have 2 great sponsors this challenge, Bugaboo and QKR Stampede. We are still a little know challenge and don't get a lot of entries, so you stand a great chance of winning one of the two terrific prizes. We are also fortnightly, so you even have two weeks to make your card/project.

We have ow done 50 sketches and this one was the very first sketch!!!!

My image is Turtle Cop by QKR Stampede. My grandson, Cal loves turtles and I thought he would love a card made using this fabulous image. I colored him with Copics.

I used some hemp cord and a beaded charm.

Scary

*****Milly and Betty - if you are reading this, turn away!!!!!******

Scary - This is my card and gift for my Wednesday crop group. We exchange cards and little gifts for 4 major holidays and Halloween is one of these holidays. the ladies did their exchanges last Wednesday, but I have been out of town, so they will receive mine this Wednesday.

This is my DT project for 2 teams, Crafts 4 Eternity - Halloween, and Alphabet Challenge Blog - S for Scary.

This is a slider Easel card. Would you believe that I actually made  the designer paper? I used 2 stamps on kraft paper. Stamping the raven in black and the words, Thirty One in orange. The stamps are from Pink Paislee, Phantom.

The pull out slider was also stamped in black using stamps from the same set.

The pop-up and tag were made using digi images from Delicious Doodles, printed on kraft cardstock. She has a set of 6 different tombstones. Their are 6 ladies in the group, so each will receive a different tombstone. I backed the tombstone with cheesecloth and black card stock.

The Beware and Halloween stamp are both SU; as well as the punches to punch them out with. I added tiny black gemstones to the wings on the bats.

I finshed off the cards and tags with orange frosted pearls.

Here is all 6 cards and gifts. I tied the tags to the little treat boxes with orange raffia.

I almost forgot! After you slide the card to the easel position, I used another SU stamp and heat and stick embossing powder with some orange glitter to make the inside sentiment.

Pumpkin

Pumpkin - Hi, dear crafting friends. I am back from my 2 trips. I am exhasted, but had a wonderful time in Vegas with my 2 daughters and their families and in Alaska, with my son and his family. I will post photos soon for all to see.

I managed to finish this card for The Sweet Pea Stampers, just before I left. I am not happy with the photos, I just could not get the light like I wanted it.

Our challenge to you this fortnight is Halloween. You don't have to use a Sweet Pea image, but there is an extra prize awarded to a Sweet Pea user. So you would have 2 chances to win with a Sweet Pea image. Now many are also available in digi. I colored

My DP are Pink Paislee, Hocus Pocus. I love the skeleton on this sheet. It was too cute to cut up. I highlighted the skeleton with Cinnamon Stickles.

My image is Ching-Chou Kuik Pick a Pumpkin rubber. Also in Sheet 18, plate 53.

I colored her with Copics and outlined the image and papers with the cinnamon Stickles.

My sentiment is SU. I stamped the image twice, once in purple and once in green, then punched and layered.

Autumn Leaves

Autumn Leaves - Who doesn't wish that they could fly through the air on a leave like these sweet little House Mouse critters?

This is my card for the Crafts 4 Eternity leaves challenge.

I colored the sweet image with Copics. The image is so large that there really wasn't much room left. LOL

I used some Bakers twine on the edge. My DP that is mostly covered by those sweet mice is K and Company.

For the sentiment, I pulled out several distress inks and had fun blending them before I ran them through the Cuttle bug using a Tim Holt tattered banner die. The sentiment is Studio G.

Sun for my Son

Sun for my Son - This card was made for my son's birthday. He lives in Alaska where the trees are already bare.

My card for Creative Card Crew is a simple one. I used lots of distress inks and the stamp is stampitous it has been in my stamp drawer for away. It is always fun to work with inks and the blending tool.

Snow and Ice

Snow and Ice - Hello, sweet crafty friends. I am glad that you are visiting me here today.

I have my DT card for Seems a Little Sketchy today.  Here is our lovely sketch. I hope that you will join us. We still don't get many entries and with it being a fortnightly challenge, you have lots of time to get it in.

This challenge is sponsored by Crafty Sentiments. They have lots of delicious images. The one that I worked with is Snowman Song.

I colored him with Copics and had lots of fun with some great products. I used some ice flakes for the snow on the ground. The little bird's hat has some liquid pearls and the snowman's hat has some Polar White Flower Soft.

I used lots of SB dies. I used the Grand Label 4 and Grand Decorotive Lable 4 for the card base. The icecycle is a new delites SB. I not only cut, but embossed and stenciled with Broken China distress ink. Then I added some Rock Candy Stickles with it. I thought the Rock Candy is the most like real ice.

My flower is by The Girls' Paperie. My DP is MME Winter Wonderland.

Now that you have seen what I have done with the sketch, I want to see what you can make with it!

Roses

Roses - Hello, sweet crafting friends. I am off on back to back trips, but I have left you  lots of projects to look at while I am away. This one is the first.

Our challenge at Alphabet Challenge Blog is R for Roses. My DP is a scrap that was in my pink scrap drawer. I believe it is Paper Studio. I bought a great big block of their papers when I first started scrap-booking and I still have lots of it. I used up most of the pinks, but I still had this small piece.

My image is Al Night Media, another item that is from my early days of crafting. I stamped with Mememto ink and colored with Copic's.

I used SB borderabilities - Scalloped Borders Two for the top border and SB Labels Four and Gold Labels Four for the image. I inked with Spun Sugar distress to add a little shading to the bottom of the rose.

Spirit

Spirit - Today's challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is CAS (clean and simple.)

I made this card using this fun image from our sponsor Sassy Designs Studio. She was really fun to color.
I used the least amount of Copic's that I have used in a long time. I used 5 BV, 1 R and 1 E. 7 markers. I think that is a new record for me.

The edges were inked with Antique Linen. The sentiment is Studio G. I finished off the card with Bakers twine and a moon charm.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon - I have a real simple card today. Our challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is to use only the colors in the photo below.

Aren't the colors yummy? Warm cinnamon always smells so delicious.

I don't know why this photoed in mustard in purple. I assure you that it is the same card as the top photo. Isn't it strange? Maybe the Halloween trickster are out already.

I used a steam punk embossing folder, a SU stamp, a page from an old book and some buttons.

Fall Tag

Fall Tag - Hi! Welcome to my blog. I have created this sweet little card for my DT project for Creative Card Crew.

I used papers from 2 different pads. The flowered and orange embossed papers are Kaiser Craft, These Days and 7 Gypsies Venice.

The image on my tag is Gnome Boy Fall by our sponsor Birdie Brown. This was one of her Freebies. You can find her blog with her freebies here. Her images are so cute, you will want to check out her Etsy shop as well.

I colored Gnome Boy with Copics. I hand cut the tag and inked with old paper. The ribbon came from my scrap ribbon jar.

I dragged out some old leave punches for the leaves and tied a bow using some cord and my Bow Easy.

My sentiment is SU, as is the punches.

The 2 large gemstones are brads and I also used small gemstones (not brads) on the sentiment.
