Bows

Bows - Time for a new challenge at Creative Card Crew. This fortnight we are hoping that you will join us in our bow challenge. :)

My designer paper is Authentique's Two Christmases in One. I love the funky green in the Santa paper and the blue spuce color in the background of the tree paper.

My image is Lacy Sunshine Stamps, Lucy Boo's Christmas Package. I colored her with Copics and added Stickles to her lacy skirt. I also added some double bows to her hair. I used a die on the image and then used the same die and cut it into 3 pieces for the matting. I finished off the image with some red pleated netting. It reminded me of her skirt.

I used some tree dies to make the blue spruce trees. The trees and all of the papers were ink with distress ink.

My sentiment is SU and I used a quick tie ribbon for the bow.

Shower Invite

Shower Invite - It is time for a new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity and this time we want to see all your creepy crawly critters. That's right bugs!! So where is my bug. Well my bug is not so creepy crawly. A butterfly is a bug too!

My card is an invitation to a bridal shower that I am giving for my grandson's teacher. She is new to our school and we are so very happy for her.

She gave me full freedom to do what ever I wanted. The only clue that she gave me was that she liked fall colors.

I typed the information and printed it from my computer, then cut it with a SB. After cutting the information, I masked off the center and used 3d paint around the edges. That was followed by popping it up on a dry embossed backing.

I tied a tiny bow using my Bow Easy.

The butterfly is a MS punch, then again used the 3d stamp paint on the edges. I twisted the wire around a small dowel and finished off the butterfly with 3 tiny pearls.

Harvest Pumpkin

Harvest Pumpkin - I have a simple card for my DT project for this weeks Crafts 4 Eternity challenge. Can you guess our challenge? It is harvest! Isn't that fun!

My DP's are K & Company's Halloween Specialty paper pad. The green was a scrap from some long ago project. All papers were distressed with Gathered Twigs distress ink.

The pumpkin was cut with my Cricut and the Freshly Picked cartridge.

The sentiment is SU stamped and punched with SU punches.

I finished off the card with a twine bow tied around the stem of the pumpkin.

Hallowed Witch

Hallowed witch - We are looking for your Halloween projects this fortnight at The Sweet Pea Stampers.

My image is a Sweet Pea stamp that has been discontinued. I love this image, but don't lose out on getting your favorite images. Check out the Sweet Pea Stamps and select your "Got to Have" images now!

I colored her with Copics and added lots of Stickles to her dress and hat.

My sentiment is from Digi's With Attitude, but they are no longer around. This seems to be the card, that everything is discontinued on.

The purple sentiment is SU. I hope that one is still around, but it may not be.

I finished off the card with some sparkly bats, a tulle bow and a stick pen.

Mad Scientist

Mad Scientist - It is time for another challenge at Creative Card Crew. This fortnight our challenge is to use BLACK card stock. Fun, right!! So come and join us. While my card is fun and halloweenish, some of my team mates went no spooky at all. We even had one that was Christmas. How is that for creativity!

My image is Delicious Doodles, Halloweenie Crazy Chemist! Isn't he a hoot? Teri Sherman has the best Halloween images. Most are horror, but she did a lot of these, not so spooky, characters too.

I colored him with Copics, then fussy cut him and added some Diamond Glass to his chemistry tube and bottle.

My DP is K and Company's Halloween Specialty pad. I ran it through my Zutter distrezz machine to rough up the paper.

My trim is cheese cloth that was wrapped with a bumpy yarn.

The glittery bats were something that I found in a craft clearance. It did not have a label, so I have no idea as to who made it.

Baby Penguin

Baby Penguin - Hi friends. It is time for a new sketch challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy!!! This is an easy and fun one!!!

I have a hard time using a sketch, if I want to make a fancy fold card, so when I create the sketches for us at Seems a Little Sketchy, I have been trying to make some that would be good for a multi-fold card.

For this this one, I made a sunken frame card. It is hard to see in the photo, but the main image is sunken. This is a really easy card to make, but it makes a big impact on the receiver. I just center the image, then trace around it. I then draw a big X through that tracing and cut on the X lines. The only other thing you have to do, is to score around the frame and give a back to it, to cover up the big X. You will loose about 1/2 an inch so it really does need the back.

This challenge is sponsored by the fabulous Aurora Wings. All of Mitzi's images are just gorgeous! This is one of her more simplistic images. Her mermaids are particularly beautiful, with lots of stunning detail.

This image is baby Penguin. I colored him with Copics, then stamped some snowflakes with a glue pad and added some really fine glitter.

My sentiment is Inkadinkado stamped with red. I scattered some blue gemstones around the card base.

Creepy

Creepy - Our new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is Halloween. Such a fun challenge and I am looking forward to seeing what you join us with.

My card base used all of my orange distress inks and a little Black Soot as well. It was really fun to work the ink into the paper. Something that I love doing, but usually just short cut and use designer paper.

My SU sentiment is heat embossed with pumpkin embossing powder. The punch is a MS. and the bottom border DP is from my scrap drawer.

Come and join us. I am waiting to see what you create!

Wedding B's

Wedding B's - It is Friday and that means it is time for a new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity. This week we are cchallengingyou to have 3 things that start with the same letter.

I went with B's. Bling, Bow, and Border die.

My grandson's teacher is getting married soon, so it was a good time to get her card done.
I used a SB border die for the cut out in the card. The stamp is some unknown brand that was in my stash. I stamped it twice, once in black and once in Champagne to create a bit of a shadow. The border around the sentiment is The Paper Studio.

the bow was tied using my bow easy and I finished off the card with a gemstone swirl and 3 pearls.

Thanks for stopping by and come and join our challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity.
