Blue Sprinkled

Blue Sprinkled - This is my 2 challenges for one card week. This weeks challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is Tic Tac Toe!!! I went with Something Old (the papers are scraps) Something Blue, and Something New (this was a kit that I recently received from Paper Trey Ink. I am in love with this kit. I have made several shaker boxes with it.

The challenge at Alphabet Challenge Blog is O for Ombre'. It was my turn to pick, so I really hope that you like it and come and play with us. I also get to select the top 3.

What is Ombre'? It is not monochromatic, but graduating shades of a single color.

This time I remembered to add the sprinkles before I sealed it up. I still can't believe that I forgot the sprinkles on my last shaker card.

Luna

Luna - It is time for a new challenge at The Sweet Pea Stampers and this fortnight our challenge is layers!!! Such a great challenge to show off the beautiful images of Sweet Pea Stamps!

Using Ching-Chou Kuik's Spring Luna in rubber and also available in digi. I colored Luna with Copics. This time I left the cap on my Stickles and glitters. The gold had such a nice metallic look and I wanted that to show.

My flowers are Heartfelt Creations. I used some Viva's Inca Gold on the flowers, then after shaping them, I brushed on some Moss 3 D stamp paint. I love the sparkle in them. Viva Docore makes some beautiful products. They are always so gorgeous. I used some Gala Glitz in gold in the centers. What I like about the Gala Glitz is that it has several shades and sizes of the chunky glitter.

My Designer papers are BoBunny's Silver and Gold Collection. I spiraled some red wire around a paintbrush to add a little of the red color to the flower sprays.

I also used some gold metallic Washi tape to the card.

Here is a side view so you can see all of the dimension in the layers.

Chalky Seashore

Chalky Seashore - It is time to have more fun with a new challenge at Creative Card Crew!! We have a great challenge this fortnight - Chalkboard technique. I have been wanting to try one of these for a while and I must say that it is really fun.

My designer papers are Heartfelt Creations, Balmy Breeze

My image is Heartfelt Creations, Sand and Sea Precut Set. I used the lighthouse image and stamped it with versamark, then poured on while embossing powder and heated it up. Next I used some Snow Cap ink and rubbed it around the image a bit to make it looked a bit smudged after inking up all of the edges.

The little anchor was cut from the Balmy Breeze paper. I added a ribbon and some black pearls to finish off my card.

Blue Snowflakes

Blue Snowflakes - It is time for a new challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy and I am so excited about this sketch!!!! I love the belly band on it.

My DP's are BoBunny Powder Mountain.

My image is Lacy Sunshine's Snowflake - Quality Control. I colored her with Copics, then added lots of gemstones. I randomly stamped snowflakes with Tumbled Glass distress ink and then used a fine tipped glue (Heartfelt Creations) to add a fine glitter.

The snow flakes behind the image are HC Lacy dies. I cut it in half and mounted it behind the image that was cut with a SB.

I made a stick pin and added it the bow that was tied using my Bow Easy.

Here is a side view, so that you can see all the sparkle.

At the Beach

At the Beach - It is Friday and that means it is time for a new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity!! Our challenge this week is "Oh, I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside!" It is a fun challenge and we do so hope that you will join us!

My Designer papers are Carta Bella, Ahoy There.

My image is Michelle Perkett Studio's Olive. I love to color Olive. I really love her belly. It is so much like a toddlers.

I colored Olive with Copics and then used a poster paint pen to add the highlights. I used Stickles on the Starfish and some fine glitter on the white ruffles on her swimsuit and on the headband.

I had a friend who colored this image and thought that the hat was hair. I thought it looked cute that way too, but she was embarrassed.

The little anchor was cut from the pad of paper and I added some Rock Candy Stickles to it.

I completed my card with some tiny pearls.

Sweet Sprinkles

Sweet Sprinkles - I am guest designing for Top Tip Tuesday today. Thank you Samantha for inviting me.

The challenge there is everyone's favorite. That's right - Anything goes!!!

I made a shaker box card for today's challenge.

I used the papers and dies from Paper, Trey, Ink Market kit. I have been making a lot of these shaker boxes since my kit arrived.

My image is Girl Love Cupcake by our sponsor, Bugaboo. I colored her with Copics and added just a hint of Stickles on the ruffle and hearts on her apron. The heart shaped sprinkles are some that I bought on clearance eons ago.

I moved the sprinkles around a little, so that you could see that they do move.

This fabulous die cut is also in the package.

Thanks for stopping and by and please go by and see what the other girls have done and to play along with us.

So Grateful

So Grateful - Hi friends. It is time for a new, fun challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity. This week we are challenging you to use something old or forgotten. A nice easy one. We all have lots of crafty things that we haven't used in a while.

I used a SU stamp that I bought a year or so ago and hve only used once. I stamped it in sand memento ink and colored the flowers with Copics. I love how soft it came out.

While I do have a die for this stamp set, it would have left a large border, so I fussy cut it. the punches are also SU. I popped up the sentiment with foam dots and added 3 tiny pearls to each side.

I finished off the card with a ribbon that was tied using my Bow Easy.

Pink Angel

Pink Angel - A new fortnight and a new challenge at The Sweet Pea Stampers. This fortnight we are challenging you to emboss, wet or dry. I was so excited about this challenge that I did both!!!

I have done this image before in white and deep red and I loved how it came out, but when I seen that many challenges out were to use pinks and burgundy, I thought how beautiful this image would be in those colors. You can see my white and red creation here.

I dug around in my scrap drawer for this paper. I thought it would be perfect for my pink and burgundy card. I dry embossed the paper with a snowflake folder.

Using Sweet Pea Stamps digi image Angel of Christmas Stars. Also available in rubber.

I colored this breathtaking image with Copics and added some clear Wink of Stella to the wings and some white Wink of Stella to the snow-globe and some of the decorative elements on her dress. Then I Fran-taged it.

My snowflake is made of several SB and a Crystal brad.

My sentiment is Inkadinkadoo and 3 burgundy pearls.

Duck, Duck, Goose

Duck, Duck, Goose - Yeeks!! It is time for another challenge at Creative Card Crew and again, I am writing this after it has gone live.

Our challenge this fortnight is embossing. I used both wet and dry embossing on this one. I started the card with dry embossing some printed designer paper.

My image is Gertie Goose by our sponsor Imagine That! I colored her with Copics. I saved my glitter for the sentiment this time. The image was cute enough with out it.

My flowers are Heartfelt Creations and I heat embossed the stamped part with a Princess Rose Cosmic Semi Trans by Sparkle and Sprinkle. It has a sheen to it, that I have not seen in other embossing powders. I love it and have almost used up the little sample bag that they sent me.

Shepard at Night

Shepard at Night - Hi, time for a new sketch at Seems a Little Sketchy!!!

I turned the sketch and forgot to turn it back to the original position. It helps me visualize it better to turn it the the angle that I am doing it in.

My image is Shepard by our sponsor, QKR Stampede. I used a shading technique that I learned from Sandy Allnock. Sandy also used a Shepard for her card.

I colored the image with Copics and cut with a SB.

My DP is Farm House's Norland.

Sympathy

Sympathy - I have a very simple card for my DT project today. I used some odd stamps that have been in my stamp drawer for a very long time. I don't think I have ever used these, so I thought it was high time to pull them out into the sunlight.

I stamped the script with Sand Memento ink and used Black Memento ink for the sentiment and flower. The flower is colored with Copics and then matted.

I know that you are all curious as to which team it is for, and I won't leave you in suspense, it is Crafts 4 Eternity!

What is our challenge? Why, anything goes, of course!

Out to the Ball Game

Out to the Ball Game - It is time for a new challenge at Gruffies and Guests.  Our challenge is anything goes with the optional of masculine!

I used this adorable Hopper image and colored him with Copics. I airbrushed a faint blue background. You can't really see it, but it does seem to bring the image to the foreground a little more.

My papers are Fancy Pants Designs, Little Sport, inked with Old Paper distress ink.

A little ribbon and 3 buttons finish off this masculine card.

Baby Boy

Baby Boy - Time for a new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity and Alphabet Challenge Blog.

Our challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is a sketch.

The challenge at Alphabet Challenge Blog is M for masculine! I used the sketch to make a page for my grandson Jace's, scrap book. I am embarrassed to admit that Jace is already 4 years old and I am just now getting to his album. I just enjoy coloring with my Copic's so much that I tend to make more cards than pages.

My paper is Recollections and the border was already on the paper, so it made for a quick page.

The studded ribbon was on a roll.

Here is a close - up that sweet little face.
