Bliss

Bliss - This is the first of the cards that I will be teaching the ladies at my church. We did a series on penny pincing and we will continue with that theme in making our own Christmas cards on a budget. The most expensive thing on the card is the stamp that I got for 60 cents (I had a 40% off coupon) at Michael's last year. The DP I got at Tuesday Morning 25 sheets for $2.99. The brads I got at Hobby Lobby using a 40% off coupon I think they were $2.99 to start with, and the red bling on the nose I got at JoAnn's again useing a 40% off coupon. The bling started at $3.99. The cardstock is 50% off at Hobby Lobby this week making my total cost
$9.67.

Autumn Corn

Autumn Corn - DP is from a seasonal block that I picked up a long time ago. The ribbon and brads are from my stash. The brad in the center of the bow is from the seasonal area at Hobby Lobby, I picked these up last year after Thanksgiving when they were really cheap. The images are PS. I embossed them then painted them with beach. I had not tried the process before, but it was very easy to do.

Teacher's Pet

Teacher's Pet-It's easy to see why this little cutie would be the teacher's pet. Mary Margaret is a Michelle Perkett image and is available for FREE this week at http://owhstarsandstamps.org/, as well as Goldilocks. Owhstarsandstamps is a way for paper crafters to show our support for our troops. The crafters overthere made cards that the troops can use to dent home to their loved ones. As many of you know, my husband recently arrived in Iraq and will be there for the next year, so this is very dear to my heart. I hope that you will head over there and grab your images and create a card to enter in the challenge and then get the card to our troops. Michelle Perkett Studios is the sponser this week. The challenge is to make a card using any Michelle Perkett image (you can use one of the free images or if you prefer you can use one of her images available at her etsy shop.) After creating your card link it to owhstarsandstamps.org and then you can enter the SAME card at michelleperkettstudio.blogspot.com. How about that, 2 chances to win!!!!
