Alien Party

Alien Party - It is time for another challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy.  This fortnight we are sponsored by My Grafico.

Here is our sketch. I turned it for my card. The party hats are the "flowers" in the sketch.

I used this alien/monster images from My Grafico. I used my Copics to add some shading to these pre-colored images. This set came with lots images. There were little swirls and even several more aliens/monsters.

I added googly eyes to the aliens/monsters. This card is for my grandson Devyn for his birthday. He really liked it!

My DP is Kaiser Craft, Jungle Bug Collection. I love the bright colors in this collection.

I finished this card off with a sentiment for Studio G and some hemp cord. The sentiment was cut with a SU punch that was punched twice, using an extension so that I could cut it off deeper in the punch. I then rounded off the ends.

Advent

Advent - It is time for an Anything Goes challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity.

I have made 2 Advent Calendars for my grandchildren who live in California. It was a very quick and easy project to do.

The boxes are Karen Foster Designs. My DP is MME Winter Wonderland. I inked all the papers with Old Paper distress ink. I used MME coordinating button  embellishment pact for the embellishments.

I have 2 (another on the way) grandchildren in California, so I made 2. I have another one of these boxes, so you can expect that I will get that one done for the new baby soon, so stay tuned!

Pirate

Pirate - I made this card for my grandson, Jace. I just turned 4 and lived very far away from me. :(

Jace is into Jake and the Neverland Pirates, so I made this pirate themed card for him.

Our challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is Cute Kids. We want to see cards/projects for children.

The bottom border is done with SB dies.

My pirate was cut using my Cricut and the Paper Doll dress-up cartridge.  My face is Peachy Keen Stamps.

I rarely do the inside of the card, but my sentiment on the front makes more sense when you see the inside.

Purple Power

Purple Power - My team is up the this fortnights challenge at The Sweet Pea Stampers. Our challenge is Purple Power. We have 2 winners, each  could win a rubber stamp of their choice from Lynn at Sweet Pea Stamps.

One of the stamps can be won by using any image. To win the second prize, you must use a Sweet Pea image. The images are all so beautiful, so come on and show us your Sweet Peas!

I used digi Bess by Elaine Cox. Also available in rubber. Also in sheet 15 Fairy portraits.

I colored Bess with Copics. The image was so lovely that I didn't want to cover up anything with glitter.

I made my flowers using the Posy SB die and Concord Grape distress ink. I used a pearl for the center of each flower.

My butterflies are made with a MS punch. I punched it with dark and light purple card stock. I then cut the light purple butterflies apart and bent their wing upward, gluing them over the darker purple. I added some tiny pearls for the bodies.

My sentiment is SU, as is the punch.

Our sponsor for this challenge is the Scrapping Center. You would not believe their range of products!

I started my card with this fun weaving. I used double sided designer paper by K and Company. This blog is Peppermint Twist. I highlighted each fold with a frosted pearl.

My image is SU. It is a discontinued set. I stamped it in glue then burnished in a fine red glitter. I added in a few more frosted pearls.

My sentiment is also SU. I hand cut the banner.

Jessica Rabbit

Jessica Rabbit - It is time for a new sketch at Seems a Little Sketchy. This is my fabulous card!! I love this image. She is really fun!

Just look at out fun sketch. Would you believe that I made this one. Tess usually does our sketches, but she is moving from her flooded house, so I got to do the honors. What do you think?

Here is a close up of my image. Jessica Rabbit, is by our sponsor Sassy Studio Designs. She is a full length image, but I cut off her legs with my SB die. I colored Jessica with Copics and added lots of tiny black rhinestones. Did you notice the gemstone earring?

My DPs are Recollections and DCWV Twinkle Glint stack. You can't see the sparkle in the papers in the photo, but it is really pretty in real life.

My sentiment is SU, as is the punches used to punch it. I heat embossed the sentiment mat.

I finished off the card with 3 pearls. I hope you will join our challenge and use my sketch at Seems a Little Sketchy. We still don't get a lot of entries, so you have a good chance to win!

Tears

Tears - It is Friday and time for a new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity and Alphabet Challenge Blog
Our Challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is sponsored by Floppe Latte Designs. Our challenge is to use a recycled element on your project. Do you see it on mine?

My image is Not my Day by Saturated Canary. Our challenge at Alphabet Challenge Blog is paper piecing. I colored her and the shadows on my Recollections Designer paper, with Copics. I paper pieced all of the blue except her hair ties. I even paper pieced her tear.

I have had problems mastering ethnic skin, but I am pleased with the way this one came out. She is such a sweet image. I loved doing her hair.

I added lots of Frantage to the image and papers after inking them with Broken China and Worn Lipstick distress inks.

Did you find my recycled item. The above photo is what I started with and I turned it into the wrought iron fence below. I opened the can with scissors, then used a SB die to cut it. I used my Copics to turn it black.

I finished off the  card with some flowers, ribbon (tied using my Bow Easy,) and a stick pin. I made this stick pin for the stick pin swap that I did on CDAC. I even made the little charm on it. It is shrink art by Darice.

Step-Sisters

Step-Sisters - We start a new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity today. Our new challenge, sponsored by Stamping All Day, is to use the colors in the below color board.

Aren't they beautiful colors? I loved working with them.

My image is Anistasia and Drizella by A Day For Daisies. They are Cinderella's step-sisters. It was fun to dress them so over the top. I colored this pair with Copics, then added Flower Soft to the fluffs in their head pieces.  I gave them both gemstones on their rings and one of them has a gemstone brooch on her cape and the other one has a gemstone on her waist piece.

My DP is Recollections. Everything was inked with Tumbled Glass or Seedless preserves distress inks. I used a SB die to cut the image and scalloped mat.  I finished my card off with 6 frosted pearls.

Ivy

Ivy - Here is a card for Creative Card Crew's challenge "Things with Wings." We are sponsored by Delicious Doodles. Teri is not only a great artist, but she is really sweet as well. Check out her art work. I have chosen a beautiful fairy to color, but she also has some dark images. If that is your style, you really should check them out. Her HORRORscope is really creative.

This stunning image is Ivy Fairy. I colored her with Copics and added Stickles to her wings.

My Dies are exclusive to Heartfelt Creations. Aren't they gorgeous? The green is actually a window frame. I just turned it on its side and only showed the top and right side of it.

The black scroll is for their lamp post set. I love the scrolls in this set.

My DP is Kaiser Craft Chapter one. I love turquoises in this pad.

The dots are part of the paper pad and I added Peridot gemstones.

My sentiment, ink, and punch are all SU.

Here is our fabulous sketch. A bit different and so great to use.

My image is Apples in a Basket, by Robyn's Fetish. I colored it with Copics. The image was cut with a SB, then inked in the die with Vintage Photo distress ink. All my papers (DP is Primas, Madeline) were inked with the Vintage Photo distress ink.

My sentiment and it's punch is SU. I stamped it on the script paper.

I finished off my card with 3 tiny pearls.
