Frankie
Frankie - Today's card is my Design team card for Seems a Little Sketchy. We are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. Jody always comes up with the cutest images.
Here is Jenn's sketch. It is a simple one, but oh, so cute. Just like the image!
I actually made 8 of these, so that I could give them to my friends that I craft with every Wednesday. They have been getting together on Wednesdays for over 10 years. Due to my moving around, I met them shortly before I moved away for 5 years and I returned a little over a year ago. I really missed this sweet group of talented ladies and am so glad that now that my husband has retired, I never have to leave this awesome group again.
The image is Frankie Peekers. I colored Frankie with my Copics and used my air brush for the purple background.
My papers are from a seasonal blog by The Paper Studio. The frame was cut with my Cricut and the Happy Haunting cartridge. I cut the raven with black glitter paper.
The glittery bat is Recollections.
Come and get sketchy with us at Seems a Little Sketchy. It is a fortnightly challenge, so it is great for those design team people who want to work a little ahead. As Seems a Little Sketchy is fairly unknown, not many people enter, so that means you have a greater chance of winning.

Triceratops -
Triceratops - It is time for another sketch challenge at Sunday Sketch and Stamp.
You are going to love this sketch. I know I do. It is so easy and the result is beautiful. Go to the challenge blog and see what my team mates did with this sketch.
My Designer papers are The Paper Studio. My grandson is really into dinosaurs and I bought this paper to make the invitations to his birthday party. I am being good and using the left over papers. I loved his invitations and I like this card even better.
The image is Doodle Pantry. It was a Freebie that I picked up ages ago. I really enjoyed coloring him with my Copics. I stayed away from the glitter for this image. Somehow, I don't see little boys liking a sparkly Triceratops.
The sentiment is SU. I stamped it with Chipped Sapphire distress inks.
One more look at this fun card with the buttons and hemp cord.

Skull Hair-Ties
Skull Hair-Ties - The challenge at One Stop Craft Challenge this week is.... Halloween. Easy for this time of year.
We are sponsored by Kenny K. Kenny K has the most fabulous images that are so suburban and trendy. His images are always so fun to color.
My papers are Pink Paisley Hocus Pocus.
I colored Gothik Angelz - Wanda Wicked with Copics and then used a white Sharpie poster paint pen to add hi-lights.The image was cut with a SB and inked with distress inks.
My swirl is a MD die. the flowers are a combination of several different ones that I had in my stash.
The sentiment is SU and both punches are also SU. I inked with Vintage Photo distress ink. I added pearls that I had made with my Salmon pearl pen.
I finished the card off with brown baker's twine.

Spooky Cute
Spooky Cute - I have made a tee pee card for Creative Card Crew's fancy folds challenge. It is the first time that I have made one and it was easier than I thought it would be and it is a very card to see.
This is the card opened. The construction is very easy.
My image is Stamp Fairies (our sponsor) Mimi Halloween. Isn't she adorable?
Mimi is colored with Copics and I added some Stickles to her pitchfork, tail, horns and hair ties. After cutting out the image I inked with worn lipstick distress inks.
My sentiment is SU four frames stamp and I hand drew the works. I then used the SU matching punch.
My DP is Making Memories Note Worthy. I added 3 pink gemstones to the right side of
each of the "legs." Did you notice the pink tulle behind the image?
On this side of the tee pee, I added flowers that were cut with a SB flower. They were cut, shaped and then given a center that was pulled off a stem. My then 2 year old grandson helped me pull them off the stem. He thought that was the greatest thing in the world to get to tear up the flower stem. LOL
There is a MD swirl in there amongst the flowers. I added a pink ribbon and eyelets to make the tie to hold the card together.
On this side I used a MF tissue paper ruffle and a CL die with more pink gemstones.
I made a stickpin to add to the ruffle.
I hope you liked my tee pee card and will check out all the awesome folds that my team mates at Creative Card Crew have done.

Piratey Day
Piratey Day - It is Saturday and that means that it is One Stop Craft Challenge day. This week we are sponsored by Doodle Pantry. The provided me with this super cute pirate ship image. With so many grandson's, I always need lots of boy cards for the million parties that they go to, so this image was right up my alley.
The challenge this week at One Stop Craft Challenge is everyone's favorite - anything goes!
The sentiment is also by Doodle Pantry. There are several sentiments to choose from that all all really great with this image.
My image is colored with Copics and I air brushed the background of the ship and the sentiment. I like how soft the color is with the air brush.
I added 3 buttons tied with baker's twine and added a dolphin charm to the top button.

Broom Ha Ha
Broom Ha Ha - At Alphabet Challenge Blog, we are up to S and S is for...... Spooky!
My project for this challenge is a sucker all dressed up in it's Halloween costume as a broom.
The broom is a very easy to do craft. I read about it here.
I used card stock for my brooms and a SB die. The sentiment is heat embossed in black. I free hand cut the sentiment and the border card stock. I used some jute to tie the sentiment on with.
The handle is colored with a Copic.

Na Na Boo Boo
Na Na Boo Boo - Isn't this little guy the cutest? Squigglefly (our sponsor) did such a good job designing him. What kid has not made this face? Maybe that is why I love him so much.
Here is the sketch for this fortnights challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy.
I colored Giddy with Copics and used Chipped Sapphire distress inks on my papers by Magic Scrapps. I ran all the papers through my Zutters distrezz-it-all. The star punch is an American Girl punch. I also used some bakers twine on my card.

Orchard
Orchard - Look at the sketch for Sunday Sketch and Stamp. Isn't is a good one?
My apple tree branch is a combo of dies. The Branch is a Quick Cuts swirly die, the leaves are a SU die and the apples are a Cricut cut using A Child's Year cartridge. I shaped the leaves by pinching them with my fingers. The apples received some Diamond Glaze to make them shiny.
My image is Orchard by Saturated Canary. Krista Smith is the creative guises behind Saturated Canary. Her images really are delightful. I love coloring the hair.
I again added Diamond glaze to the apples and some Stickles on her hair tie and pocket. She was colored with Copics.
My DP is from The Paper Studio, seasonal pad. I liked that the bobbing for Apples happened to get in the right place to show. I think it is perfect with my image.
Another shot of the image.

Make a Wish
Make a Wish - I made the team at One Stop Craft Challenge. Yee Haw!!! This is my first project for them. We are sponsored by A Day For Daisies and they gave me this sweet little image to play with!
I colored the image with Copics and added Stickles to the wings of the fairy and butterfly.
I masked the image and used my air brush to make the sky. It is the first time that I have made a sky in this way and I really like it. I will definitely be doing more air brushing in the future.
The challenge for this week at One Stop Craft Challenge is heat embossing. I used a sentiment and Concord Grape distress ink and clear embossing powder. I thought is was a very appropriate stamp with the fairy on the fuzzy flower.
I tied some tulle with my Bow Easy and added a yellow butterfly. The pearls are made with a Viva Decor pearl pen.

Swan river
Swan River - Todays challenge at Creative Card Crew is to have a bird somewhere on your project. We are sponsored by the awesome Simon Says Stamp.
For this challenge, I made a center step card. These are so easy to make and so fun to recieve!
My image is a Phindy's Place image. I colored it with Copics.
I added Flower Soft to the flower box on the mill. I used a white poster paint pen to make the white bubbles/foam where the water is hitting the river. I also added some ultra fine glitter to the water.
I used more Flower Soft to make my tree a fall tree. This gives it such a nice texture.
My flower is one that I picked up at the scrapbooking convention. The flowers are made of ribbon and I thought it was just right for this fall scene.
