Christmas Oval

Christmas Oval - Todays challenge at Sew Many Challenges is to use a oval. Easy, right. So join us there. You don't have to use a Sew Many Cards image to play with us, although we really love it when you do!

For my card, I used Sew Many Cards Cammi with Santa Bag image.

The oval was created with my Cricut using the Wild Card cartridge. I have loved this cut since I first seen it, but I have not used it until now. I did stretch it with my Gypsy. I wanted it a little wider with it was originally. I then had to resize an oval to fit inside it. I used a signo pen to make the white faux stitching. I circled the card with green and red gemstones.
I colored Cammi with Copic's and added some stickles to the Christmas lights. I gave his hat some "fur" with liquid pearls.

The inside is stamped with Rejoice from a Studio G stamp. I circled the inside oval with white eyelash yarn.

For my second card, I used today's dollar deal with is this cute pencil image. You can get this image for $1 in the Sew Many Cards shop. My DP is from the Seasonal pack by Paper Studio.

I colored the pencil with Copics and gave it some Rock Candy Stickles. The image was cut with a Spell Binders, when distressed with Ranger's Fired Brick distress ink, useing the Spell Binder to create a frame.

The border punch is a MS and I added some large red gemstones to the punched strip. The ribbon was tied using my bow easy.

The card has a pocket and I added a piece of paper to show how it would look with a note in it.
