Peacock - I love the bright beautiful colors of a peacock. They may be a dirty bird, but they sure are lovely.
Here is the sketch for this fortnights challenge. As usual I have turned it to to the angle that I am working the sketch and forgetting to turn it back. LOL
My DP my friend found at the Tulsa convention that we just went to. Milly was so excited that she had found the paper for me. Just a few days earlier, we had our usual Wednesday crop at Milly's and I had taken that this image to work on, but had been unsatisfied with the papers that I had. Thank you Milly!
We have cropped together for the last 10 years. I moved away for 5 of those years, so it has been very nice to be back with them and to know that I will never have to move away again! My husband just retired from AFEES and I never have to move again and we don't plan to. As my husband says, our next move will be to Shady Oaks nursing home/cemetery. which ever comes first.
The paper is Graphic 45.
The image is My Heard Pieces and colored with Copics. I added gemstones to the tail feathers.
My flower embellishment is a flower that we made in a class at the Dallas convention. The class was taught by Marion for Prima. We Glimmer Misted one of Primes flowers and added a puffy white something, sorry, I don't remember what it was called. The center is a brad dipped in UTEE then in teal Gala Glitz. The feathers are from my stash.
The punch is MS's lacy flower. It is my new favorite punch. I did dry emboss the yellow base, but it does not show. The string is beading string that I got from my friend Judy who is the owner of
Pizzazz Aplenty. She has such wonder beading products and her prices are amazing!
