These little packages are for my stickpin swap, over at CDAC. This is the 3rd one that I have participated in and they are so much fun.B
Everyone makes 3 stickpins for 6 different people. Then you package them like little gifts. The theme for this one is Butterflies. There is also an English Tea Pot stickpin swap going on. I am doing this one as well and I will post my stickpins and packaging for that one at a later date.
The above photo shows the packaging for 2 of them. Below you can see the pile of them with some of them open.
My packaging is cut with a SU die. I used the largest in the set for the blue part, then the next size down for the designer paper.
My DP is GCD Studios, Ella Blue Collection. I love this paper!!!
Here is a close up of the pins. I used a variety of beads. Some I picked up at the local craft stores, but I love to get stickpin supplies from my friend at Pizzazz Aplenty. Judy has the best prices of anywhere that I have looked, as well as a large selection. She even ships overseas.
Here you can see the eyelets that I used to thread the ribbon through to tie them close.
The front of package is decorated with a CL die and a MS punch. I tied an eyelash ribbon/yarn around the spine.
