Tears

Tears - It is Friday and time for a new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity and Alphabet Challenge Blog
Our Challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is sponsored by Floppe Latte Designs. Our challenge is to use a recycled element on your project. Do you see it on mine?

My image is Not my Day by Saturated Canary. Our challenge at Alphabet Challenge Blog is paper piecing. I colored her and the shadows on my Recollections Designer paper, with Copics. I paper pieced all of the blue except her hair ties. I even paper pieced her tear.

I have had problems mastering ethnic skin, but I am pleased with the way this one came out. She is such a sweet image. I loved doing her hair.

I added lots of Frantage to the image and papers after inking them with Broken China and Worn Lipstick distress inks.

Did you find my recycled item. The above photo is what I started with and I turned it into the wrought iron fence below. I opened the can with scissors, then used a SB die to cut it. I used my Copics to turn it black.

I finished off the  card with some flowers, ribbon (tied using my Bow Easy,) and a stick pin. I made this stick pin for the stick pin swap that I did on CDAC. I even made the little charm on it. It is shrink art by Darice.

  3. Oh dear, what a sad little girl - although you have coloured her so beautifully she should have a big grin on her face.

I never thought that you could put a can through a Big Shot, I have got to try this.

Thank you for sharing your work with all of us at Crafty Boots Challenges.
