Mother's day friends

Mother's Day Friends - Here is the card that I made for my mother for Mother's Day. I think it is nice to have a grown-up daughter, instead of the usual little girl. The sentiment with the image is also perfect for a mother on Mother's Day.

The image is Deco Art Friends by Michelle Perkett. I love the flapper girl hair. Also if you look closely at the grass doodles between the women it looks as if the word Mum is written out. I am sure that it was not intended to read that, but I chuckled when I noticed it.

My DP is DCWV Dear Heart, which I distressed.

Deco Art Friends were colored with Copic's. I used my purple Spicia pend on the leaves and stems and some Stickles on the women's belts and hair pieces.

Ribbon is Dots and Dashes. I tied my bow with my Bow Easy. The pin I made with a variety of beads and a corsage pin. The flower is Prima with a glittered brad in the middle. The wire and leaves are from my stash.
