Baby Penguin

Baby Penguin - Hi friends. It is time for a new sketch challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy!!! This is an easy and fun one!!!

I have a hard time using a sketch, if I want to make a fancy fold card, so when I create the sketches for us at Seems a Little Sketchy, I have been trying to make some that would be good for a multi-fold card.

For this this one, I made a sunken frame card. It is hard to see in the photo, but the main image is sunken. This is a really easy card to make, but it makes a big impact on the receiver. I just center the image, then trace around it. I then draw a big X through that tracing and cut on the X lines. The only other thing you have to do, is to score around the frame and give a back to it, to cover up the big X. You will loose about 1/2 an inch so it really does need the back.

This challenge is sponsored by the fabulous Aurora Wings. All of Mitzi's images are just gorgeous! This is one of her more simplistic images. Her mermaids are particularly beautiful, with lots of stunning detail.

This image is baby Penguin. I colored him with Copics, then stamped some snowflakes with a glue pad and added some really fine glitter.

My sentiment is Inkadinkado stamped with red. I scattered some blue gemstones around the card base.
