Reflections

Reflections - I am away and having a wonderful time in Orlando, Florida with my grandchildren at Universal Studios. The days have been action packed,  I am exhausted, but wouldn't change a thing!

Through the magic of working ahead and the scheduling my post, all I have to do is tell you about my card.

At Crafts 4 Eternity, our challenge is to have 3 buttons, 3 brads, and 3 gemstones. I was really stumped on this one, then it hit me. 9 of something!

My stamps are PTI for my sentiment.

I used some mirror paper and the only problem with it, is that I could not get a photo of it without having my reflection in it. Do you see my camera? 

I used a SB to make 9 snowflakes and used 3 square  brads, 3 buttons and 3 gemstones in the center of each snowflake.

Unicorn

Unicorn - It is my double team week again. 2 teams and 2 fun challenges. Can you make 1 project for both challenge blogs also?

Crafts 4 Eternity is Furry Friends. Any furry animal. This challenge is sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs. The prize is 4 digi images.

Alphabet Challenge Blog is a bit more diffecult, U for unicorn. I remembered that I had this fun unicorn image by A Day for Daisies. 

I colored this image with Copics, then placed it inside a recessed card front. I like this style card, but I rarely do it. 

My designer paper is Bo Bunny's Lemonade Stand. My sentiment is PTI and it was punched with SU punches. The die cut word is also PTI. I finished off my card with some gemstones that are scattered around the frame.

Tepee Dreams

Tepee Dreams - Our new challenge at The Sweet Pea Stampers is Thanksgiving. What a fun challenge! After tis one we will be taking a break, so that we can get all of our Christmas preparations done.

My image is Thanksgiving by Regan Kubecek. I colored her with Copics. I really love how the sky line turned out.

My papers are Authentique's Something for all Seasons.

Snowy Scene

Snowy Scene - Today starts our stripe challenge at Creative Card Crew. Stripes are so fun to use, so we hope that you will join us. Our challenges run for 2 weeks, so you have lots of time to enter.

My designer paper is Fancy Pants, Merry Little Christmas paper pad.

My image is one of our sponsors, QKR Stampede. They have some really great images and I hope you check them out.

I colored it with Copics, in one of my favorite styles of coloring night scenes. Color in a medium tone and add shadows with a W5 and when you fill in the sky with the BV and add some white details and the scene takes a life of its own. This time I did add some chunky glitter for some extra sparkle.

I added some SB snowflakes with the fine glitter on top.

The pine cones and sentiment is Paper Trey Ink stamps and dies.

This image is Christmas Lantern by our sponsor, Delicious Doodles. I colored it with Copics and I resisted the Stickles on this one. The image is so pretty, that I wanted it to stand alone and let it's own "light" shine.

My papers are Old World Winter by The Paper Studio. I inked the edges with Walnut Stain distress inks.

My sentiment is Paper, Trey, Ink. 

I used some holly leaves, a stick pin and some ribbon that I colored with my Copics.

I played with distress inks for this one. I used Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers with a mask.

The pterodactyl is SU and I colored him with Copics, then fussy cut him out.

The "tree" is actually a flower stamp, that is stamped partially off the paper. I think it very much looks like a tree in shadow.

Vintage Christmas

Vintage Christmas - It is my duo day. 1 card, 2 design teams. This one is Ribbons or lace at Crafts 4 Eternity and T for traditional Christmas at Alphabet Challenge Blog. 

My image is SU, a Christmas Carol. I stamped it in glue and then rubbed a very fine glitter over it. 

My designer paper is Farmhouse, I Wich I Could Turn the Clock Back paper pad.

All papers were inked with Antique Linen and Tea Dye distress inks.

My pearls are brads and then I used some poinsettia with Prills in the centers.

Peaceful

Peaceful - It is time for a new challenge at The Sweet Pea Stampers!! This fortnight we are making sympathy projects. 

My DP are Teresa Collins, Stationery Noted pad

I used this beautiful Sweet Pea image, that is by Katerina Koukiotis, called Easter Blessing. I love when you can take an image designed to be for an occasion and make it for another occasion. Isn't this sweet angel just beautiful? I love the serenity on her face.

I colored her with Copics and added some Stickles to the clouds, her wings and flowers in her hair. She is available in digi at Sweet Pea Stamps.

I tied the ribbon with my Bow Easy and then added a stick pin from a swap that participated in.

My finishing touch was 3 red pearls.

Gobble - For my dt card for Seems a Little Sketchy, I made a tri-shutter card. It has been a long time since I have made on and it was a lot of fun to do some "paper engineering."

I used my pearl pen to make the black pearls.

Cranberries - It is time for a new challenge at Gruffies and Guests. Like always, it is anything goes with House Mouse, Hopper or Gruffies images with the option of Christmas.

There are lots of adorable Christmas images to choose from. Don't you just love these adorable mice? I puts me in the mood to put up our tree.

I colored the image with Copics and added some Stickles on the ribbon and tree.
