Marie Antoinette

Marie Antoinette - This haunting beauty is Marie Antoinette by Michelle Perkett. I thought it would be fun to pair her with a Marie Antoinette style shoe. With this I was able to combine 2 design teams in one set.

For Creative Card Crew the challenge is to put your best foot forward (footware,) and Michelle Perkett Studio is to make a shaped or fancy fold card. For Creative Card Crew you can use any image and we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and for Michelle Perkett Studio, you must use a Michelle Perkett image. All of Michelle's images are gorgeous, so go to her Etsy shop and check them out. She is also offering a Freebie every Tuesday on her Challenge blog.

My DP is K and Company's Mc Kenna. I love K and Company's paper. It is double sided and has a richness of color that most other paper's don't have.

For my shoe, I got the pattern here. She has a video and it is well worth the time to watch it.

I used some trim that I bought at Joanne's by the yard. I also used some ribbon and some pearl brads that I picked up at the scrap booking convention. The shape for my card was cut using my Cricut and Gypsy. I used one of the shapes from Gypsy Wanderings and just folded it in half.
